one must meet oneself

The author of this picture is a woman with the shining eyes. Her heart is full of love ... you see that for yourself. Thus you may be surprised, why did I not name her?
The logical question made the colors of the applique above sparkle with double strength. The world dont doubt in the righteousness of his judgment and call people with psychiatric disorders the fools - scoff at them. The world fleers at oneself by doing thus, but the Modus Vivendi artists meet dark clouds with the palettes full of paints of trust in love.
I heartily invite you to open the heavy door of the hospital for the people with psychiatric disorders and welcome the people there - lets look at oneself and listen to the heart.

  1. Since becoming so severely physically disabled over the last several years that I look/function differently from others, I've noticed that many people meeting me for the first time no longer see me at all.

I imagine it's that way for people with all sorts of disorders - that a lot of people perceive us AS our disorder instead of as a full fledged human being who happens to HAVE the disorder.

  2. Thank you for your hearty comments dear paul. The situation you have described is well known to all of us who suffer one or other disability. World's outlook towards us hardens greatly the recovery from our problems. Such reality makes the pain especially harsh- the dark. But there is the light side too. The recognition of self in the hopeless situation raises a lot of questions: "what for do we live?" What's the meaning of the life?" and the alike. All the above starts just the incredible journey to discovery of ourselves - test our faithfulness and God awards us richly ultimately. Thus the weak become the giants by shifting the eyes from self flesh to God and the miraculous healing starts when we share the gratitude. Thank you for your wonderful comment - our fellowship/sharing the heart with one other throws away sad thoughts on personal needlessness and switch on the lights in our pictures.
