Our hardships test our faithfulness, and thus our pictures are our response. Just look at the photo above. You will see not the complaints but the passionate gratitude for the remaining alive.
Wow, THANK YOU!
We were awarded by Sharon Hart.

Hello Thomas - I am so happy to hear from you. Thank you for your kind words. I am humbled by what you so beautifully expressed. When I was younger Thomas, I used to ask God to please allow me to portray emotions, sentiments when I painted. I didn't want to be a superficial abstract painter. I longed to paint God's glory. I don't think that I have or will ever achieve that, but I at least want God's grace to shine through my art.
ReplyDeleteFor this very reason, when I get such an incredible comment from someone, like you, it makes me feel that my purpose to be a painter is not in vain.
Thank you again.

Yes, paintings and other forms of art are the expression of one's soul. It is the language of the heart and mind trying to convey various thoughts and emotions to his fellowmen. It is tapping from the bosom of the Great Creative Mind. I am one with you in spirit as you try to reach out to others. Thanks for the creative post. God bless you always.
